PROJECT · KITCHEN

Bespoke kitchen with a marble island.

An open-plan kitchen designed around a marble-clad island, with a wooden breakfast bar, floor-to-ceiling handleless white doors and an oak niche, under a glass roof.

THE PROJECT

A marble island at the heart of the room.

In this open-plan kitchen, the island is the centrepiece: clad in marble, it serves as the prep area and links the kitchen to the living space. A wooden breakfast bar extends it for quick meals and brings warmth to the whole room.

All around, the handleless white doors run from floor to ceiling: the storage blends into the wall and the kitchen keeps its clean lines. An oak niche breaks up the white of the tall units, echoing the wood of the breakfast bar.

Overhead, the glass roof brings natural light into the kitchen, and recessed spotlights take over in the evening. For a bespoke kitchen, Nova handles the layout, the fitting of the units, the plumbing and the electrics with its own teams.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your questions about bespoke kitchens.

Is marble a good choice for a kitchen island?

Yes, it’s a material people love for its look, and it needs a little upkeep. During the visit, our agent also shows you quartz and granite so you can compare.

How much does a bespoke kitchen cost?

The price depends on the length of the kitchen, the doors, the worktop and the appliances. Our agent draws up a detailed quote after the visit.

Can an island be added to an existing kitchen?

Often, yes. During the visit, our agent checks the space available, the walkways and the water and electricity supply.

Which material should I choose for the worktop?

Wood, quartz, granite or marble: the choice depends on how you use it, how much upkeep you want and the style of the room. Our agent advises you on site.

How long does the work take?

It depends on the size of the kitchen and the preparation work; the timescale is set out in the quote.

Do you work all over the island?
